The Bookmanager Software, data, and Webstore can be used at businesses with multiple locations. The software and data will sync between locations, allowing you to do stock checks, transfers, and orders with ease. The Webstore can service all your locations with a single site, whereby consumers select their preferred shopping location to browse and pick up from. The Webstore is not mandatory with a multi-store, and can be added after the fact when you're ready.
Pricing for a multi-store set up is as follows: each location buys their own software, data, and Webstore; the main location pays regular price on the software and data, while all secondary locations get 50% off their data, initial Webstore fee, and data/Webstore renewals. Secondary locations have an additional fee on the software price depending on two scenarios outlined below.
If you are a brand new Bookmanager user wanting to set up multiple locations at the same time, there is an additional $1000 on the software price for each secondary location. For example: the main location's Bookmanager software would be $5000, and all other locations would be $6000. If you are an existing Bookmanager user wanting to add another location, there is an additional $500 on the software price for that new location. For example: the new location would be $5500 for the Bookmanager software.

*Most multi-stores prefer to set up one store at a time with Bookmanager, spacing out implementation at each location over a few months. This way, staff training and disruption to existing business is minimized, and you save $500 on each location for spacing them out. In the above quote, spacing out the setup would save you $1000.
If you are currently using a point-of-sale or inventory management system, we can work with you on converting and bringing over your existing data. We have experience converting data from other bookstore specific systems such as Basil, Anthology, Booklog, Square, Shopify, iBID, WordStock, SquareOne, Bookstore Manager, Lightspeed, and Quickbooks. Depending on the version and age of your current system, we may be able to work with your original data files, otherwise exported spreadsheets are always an option. If you are using a generic, non-bookstore specific system that can export data to a spreadsheet format (XLS, XLSX, Google Sheet, CSV, tab delimited text), we will have no problem importing data.
Data conversions incur an additional fee on top of the system purchase, and vary depending on how much time it takes us and the amount of data that is being converted. Simple spreadsheet conversions cost less, whereas converting from a dedicated bookstore system like Anthology costs more. To keep costs down, some stores coming from an existing bookstore system opt to only import the most basic and essential data like an inventory and customer file, and do so via exported spreadsheets rather than a raw data conversion. This is often the case with stores who feel their existing data was not maintained properly over the years, and want to start in Bookmanager with a clean slate and not inherent any bad data from their previous system.
Before starting any conversions, we will review your options and be able to provide a good estimate on a cost to convert. As we progress through your conversion, we will inform you of any speedbumps that would inflate the cost, so you can weigh whether the additional cost is worth that specific set of data we have to spend more time on.

Bookmanager offers a 90-day in-house warranty from the invoice date on hardware purchased through us. After that, the Purchaser must go through the manufacturer’s warranty. Bookmanager is not responsible for replacing any hardware that fails after our 90-day warranty.
Bookmanager will offer a temporary loaner replacement for hardware that needs to be returned to the supplier for repairs or replacement during Bookmanager’s 90-day warranty period. The Purchaser is responsible for the cost of shipping the loaner to their address as well as shipping it back to Bookmanager, but no loaner fees will be required for the loaner hardware itself. If the loaner hardware is required outside of Bookmanager’s 90 day return policy, the store will be charged a loaner fee addition to the cost of shipping. The loaner hardware can be borrowed for a maximum of 4 months from the day the store was charged the fee. If the loaner hardware is not returned within 4 months, the store will be charged the full retail value of the loaner hardware.
